ABSTRACT INFORMATION
'Christmas In June~Ag Edition'

Celebrate the joys of the holiday season. Teachers will create a make and take project and leave with items they can incorporate into their existing curriculum. Agricultural Literacy will be introduced the first hour of the first day of school. A specialty crop of Oklahoma, the Christmas tree, will be brought to life. Lesson ideas will bring the season of cheer to a busy teacher. The environment of agriculture, will stir the interest of all ages of students.

Biosketch: Mrs. Lewis has been teaching for 20 years. She has taught in both public and private schools in Oklahoma and Colorado. Her passion is reading. As a reading specialist, she sees the AGITC resources as an essential tool in her classroom. She enjoys teaching teachers and feels that her mission is not complete without incorporating reading, geography and agriculture. She has been married to the love of her life for 29 years. She feels blessed to have her family nearby and loves spoiling her 2 grand-babies.
