ABSTRACT INFORMATION
'Discover Ag Careers '

Using the AFBF Foundation's resource "When I Grow Up: Discover Ag Careers" we willexplore how to get students excited for careers in agriculture through STEM and using agriculture as a hands on real applied science students can touch, see, smell and taste how science and math works. Also learn about some of the exciting programs the National YF&R committee facilitates on the Collegiate level.

Biosketch: Kalena Bruce is the 2017 American Farm Bureau Federation Young Farmers and Ranchers Committee Chair. She lives with her husband, Billy & 2 year old daughter, Willa in Stockton, MO. She is a 5th generation farmer. The Bruces are beef producers and operate a u-pick berry patch throughout the summer and a pumpkin patch & corn maze in the fall. Kalena has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Southwest Baptist University along with her CPA license and is the managing partner of the firm she started 7 years ago.
