'InterAGtive Notebooks...Taking Notes Can Be Fun! '

How can taking notes be effective and fun for students? Come explore "InterAGtive" notebooks and discover how you can design interactive notes in conjunction with AITC lessons! These notebooks provide a hands-on opportunity for students to creatively take notes and master new concepts through problem solving and inquiry-based learning. Find out how interAGtive notebooks can improve and enhance your 6-12th grade classes!

Biosketch: Bekka Israelsen is the Pre-K—12 Education Specialist for Utah Agriculture in the Classroom. She graduated from Utah State University with a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Education and a master’s degree in Career and Technical Education. Prior to working for Utah AITC, Bekka spent three years in the classroom as a high school agricultural science teacher and FFA advisor. She now develops elementary and secondary curriculum for Utah teachers, and presents various preservice and inservice workshops statewide.
