'Agriculture STEM Careers and Lessons that Engage Student Learning'

Need creative ways to include STEM Careers and Agriculture in your program? This session will tell you the reasons to include agriculture, types of STEM careers that are available in the agricultural industry, and how to engage students in learning about Agricultural STEM. If you need helpful, fun, and motivational ways to do all of these things, this is the session for you!

Biosketch: I am currently a kindergarten teacher at Collinsville High School. I love God, my family, and teaching. I have been in the education field for eighteen years and hold an ED.S. in Elementary Education. I have received the following awards: 2018 Alabama Community Education Association Northern Region Teacher of the Year, 2017 Alabama Ag in the Classroom Jane Alice Lee Award, 2016-2017 DeKalb County Teacher of the Year, 2013-2014 Collinsville Elementary Teacher of the Year, 2012-2013 Collinsville Elementary Teacher of the Year, 2010 - 2011 Sylvania High School Teacher of the Year
