ABSTRACT INFORMATION
'Hog Wild Learning about Pigs & Pork '

Pork is the most consumed meat in the world and a great topic for teaching. Join us for to learn all about pigs & pork! We will explore lessons and resources tied to social studies, science, math, literacy, and heath & nutrition standards. Workshop participants will leave the workshop inspired to go hog-wild teaching about pigs & pork!

Biosketch: - Cindy Hall is the education program manager for the Iowa Agriculture Literacy Foundation. There she has helped build strong programs and resources, focusing on agriculture connections to STEM and social studies. Before coming to IALF, Cindy served as the Agriculture in the Classroom program director for Polk County Farm Bureau. Cindy grew up on a family farm in Southeast Iowa and attended Iowa State University and the University of Delaware.
