ABSTRACT INFORMATION
'"Ag"tivities in 5 Minutes or Less'

At times it is a challenge to fit Ag in the Classroom lessons into your curriculum. This session will provide attendees with a variety of agriculture based activities that can be added in when time allows, each taking 5 minutes or less. These lessons can be used in a variety of subject areas and can be used as stand alone projects or as part of a complete unit.

Mini-Workshop Session (activity should be easily demonstrated in 20 minutes and will be repeated 3 times on Friday)

Biosketch: Dusti McCartney is a 6th grade science, ELA, and STEM/AG teacher at Willard 5th & 6th Grade Center. She holds a B.A. in Criminal Justice and English, as well as a Master of Education, from East Central University. She is an active Ag in the Classroom teacher, and enjoys presenting and sharing her passion for agriculture at the Oklahoma Ag in the Classroom state conference. Dusti believes in a hands on approach and strives to keep her students engaged and curious about learning.
