'Egg-cellent Eggs' |

Are eggs all they are cracked up to be? Eggs can be fascinating to use with all academic areas. Eggs in all shapes, sizes, and colors will be used for various math standards and activities. By discovering how people all over the globe consider eggs a delicacy, we will integrate social studies. Writing and reading books about eggs will incorporate the language arts area. Of course, we will experiment with eggs using science. We will help teachers share the wonders and benefits of eggs with their students because they are "egg-stra-special". | Biosketch: | Michelle Spurgin is a native of Duncan, Oklahoma. She has taught at Mark Twain ELementary for 11 years. She is married and has a teenage son. Her first experience with AITC was 6 years ago when she attended an Ag on the Road Tour in the Poteau, Oklahoma area. She has attended every summer one day conference since. Two years ago was her first year to attend the National Ag Conference in Portland, Maine and she loved it. |

| Biosketch: | Sharon Banks was born in Virginia and came to Oklahoma in 2010. She has taught at Mark Twain Elementary in Duncan, Oklahoma for 7 years. She is married and has a daughter and son who are attending college at Texas A & M. Her first experience with AITC was 6 years ago when she attended the Ag on the Road tour in the Poteau, Oklahoma area. She has attended every summer state one day conference since. Two years ago was her first year to attend the NAITC in Portland, Maine. She loved it. |
