ABSTRACT INFORMATION
'STEM Square Foot Gardening'

Turn your school garden into a year-round STEM Laboratory! Learn how to create STEM-based lessons involving Mel Bartholomew's seminal Square Foot Gardening technique. In this workshop, you will build square-foot seed mats based on the correct spacing requirements for different varieties of vegetables and herbs. This activity is a great example of how the work of a STEM gardener can continue throughout the long Winter months.
