Get fully equipped for your soil science unit! In this workshop, attendees will try out several hands-on soil activities, plus come away with an armload of free lessons, posters and more from the Nutrients for Life Foundation. Soil and crop nutrients help feed the world, and you can help plant the seeds of success with these inquiry-based lessons on the properties of soil and how soil affects plant growth. Melissa Buehler Nutrients for Life Foundation 2025073389 mbuehler@nutrientsforlife.org Melissa is a graduate of the University of Nebraska – Lincoln earning her bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Education. After graduating, she embarked on a sales career spanning over 10 years with Land 'O Lakes Purina Feeds, Inc. and Stine Seed Co., before coming to work for Nutrients for Life. Melissa and her husband reside in Fairbury, Neb. where they are active in the family purebred Hereford cattle and Boer Goat operation. |
