'Increasing Student Engagement Using Multi-Media: Online Modules, Interactive Gaming, YouTube, & More' |
|
---|---|
Keeping students interested in pest management/pesticide safety or other difficult topics can be challenging. When it comes to pesticide safety, the Pesticide Education Program utilizes multi-media to teach content and engage learners! The tools we will demonstrate can be used no matter what the subject matter is you are teaching. Videos take your students “to the field” while remaining in the classroom. Interactive gaming enables content review motivated by putting students’ competiveness and gaming skills in action. If you have struggled to keep students engaged when teaching somewhat difficult or unfamiliar topics, come converse with us on interactive multi-media approaches.
