'Design a Farm:A cross curricular approach to ag education' |
|
---|---|
In the time constricted classroom, integrating multiple curricular areas into one lesson plan is a time saver. Design A Farm is a project that works for both formal and informal educators alike!
Students are responsible for researching a commodity from around the nation and designing a farm to fit the needs of that commodity. Through research, students create a blueprint of what items a farm would need to include, they must design a poster of a leading state in that commodity, and bring in examples of items related to the commodity that culminates in a presentation to the class.
