Agriculture offers "Unbridled Possibilities" for activities, projects and books. Come see some of these kid tested, hands on ideas that have been used in the classroom setting and how they're used to reinforce learning about agriculture. Many can be adapted to other age groups. Mary Zumwalt Altamont Lutheran School 614-483-6428 alisfourth@gmail.com Mary Zumwalt was raised on a grain and livestock farm and has been teaching Ag in the Classroom since 1995 when she attended her first Summer Ag Institute. She combines her two loves, agriculture and teaching, to inspire her students to realize agriculture is important in their daily lives. She currently teaches 4th grade at Altamont Lutheran School in Altamont, Illinois and enjoys learning more about incorporating Ag in the Classroom at Summer Ag Institutes and National Conferences. She is the proud parent of three grown children and five grandsons. |
