Come and enjoy one teacher's journey in promoting agriculture in her school and class. You too can "AG"centuate the positives of agriculture with these quick and easy tips and activities this teacher has to offer. All who attend will get resources for their classroom and tips and tricks for bringing agriculture into all content areas. Participants will receive an "AG 2 GO" kit with examples and activities to share with their colleagues. Workshop Session (all workshops will be one hour) | |

Karrie Perrin Stephens County Farm Bureau/ Stephens County 5th Grade Academy 706-491-2410 karrie.perrin@stephenscountyschools.org Karrie Perrin is a 5th grade teacher from Toccoa, Georgia. She has been teaching for eighteen years and actively involved in promoting AG in the Classroom since 2010. She's been married for 15 years and is the proud mother of two boys, Jared, 14, and Aiden, 6. Karrie was the recipient of Georgia's Excellence in Teaching Agriculture and a 2014 White-Reinhardt Scholarship recipient. She has presented four times at the National AG in the Classroom Conference (Colorado, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, and Kentucky). She has also been recognized as a Georgia Master teacher and was 2008 Stephens County Teacher of the Year. |
