ABSTRACT INFORMATION
'Biotech in Agriculture'

Bring Biotechnology into your classroom! We are teaching our students to identify GMO CaMV35S promoter gene in a DNA sequence using PCR. Educating students how to apply methods for separation and analysis of macromolecules (DNA) and their fragments, based on their size and charge. This interactive approach in our H.S. Lab allows students to be involved in real life scenarios using DNA of Agriculture Crops. Learn how we use miniPCRTM Lab to teach students how to perform realistic research just like the astronauts aboard the International Space Station! In addition, exciting careers in Biotechnology can be explored.
