Teaching experiences range from kindergarten to adult learners and encompass subjects across the curriculum in addition to: Designing and building world class, standards based Outdoor Classrooms with an emphasis on gardening; Creating standards based lessons in environmental literacy and environmental education to be embedded into current curriculum for all grade levels; Building partnerships with local business and industry and creating an advisory council from that group; Working with environmental and educational leaders in the district, community, state, and nation to develop curriculum; Creating and presenting professional development for local, state, and national educators with emphasis on STEM and agriculture connections in the classroom as well as science; Mentoring of pre-service teachers; working with school administrative teams; grant writing; and teacher development.
