'From Soil to Food' |

The growth of food depends on the nutrients in soil. Participants will test the presence of N, P, K in soil, and also the presence of protein, carbohydrate (sugar and starch), fat in various types of food. The objectives of the activities are to let students aware the role N,P,K played in the growing of plants. Research data (pre-test and post-test) are collected from pre-service elementary teachers on their knowledge about agriculture and their understanding of nutrients in food.
